Have your prescription ready
Keep your latest eye test or glasses prescription at hand – it lists sphere, cylinder and axis, plus prism, base and addition if applicable, as well as your pupillary distance for both eyes.

Frequently asked questions about creating your own card
Do I need an optician appointment for this?
No. You can create your entire prescription card yourself through the generator, as long as you have your current prescription at hand, for example from your latest eye test or glasses prescription.
What if I don't know all the values?
Only the sphere values for both eyes are required. Cylinder, axis, prism, base, addition and pupillary distance are optional and can be added anytime by creating a new prescription card.
Does creating a card cost anything?
No, creating your own prescription card is and remains free for individuals forever – as is updating it, simply by creating it again with new values.
