Right of Withdrawal

This right of withdrawal notice applies to concluding a paid Pro subscription on digitalerbrillenpass.de. It does not apply to the free personal use of the prescription card generator, as no paid contract is concluded there. The German-language version of this notice is the legally binding one; this translation is provided for convenience only.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract was concluded.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us,

by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an e-mail) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the model withdrawal form below, although it is not obligatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we received notice of your withdrawal from this contract. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise; in no event will you be charged any fees for such reimbursement.
If you requested that the service should begin during the withdrawal period, you must pay us a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of services already provided until you notify us of the exercise of the right of withdrawal, compared with the full scope of services provided for under the contract.
Early expiry of the right of withdrawal for digital services
For contracts for the provision of a digital service (Section 327(2) BGB), such as the Pro subscription, your right of withdrawal expires early if we have begun performance of the contract after you have a) expressly agreed that we begin performance before the end of the withdrawal period, and b) confirmed your knowledge that, by giving this consent, you lose your right of withdrawal once we have begun performance (Section 356(5) BGB).
Without such separate consent, we will not begin performance of the contract before the withdrawal period has expired.
